Seattle Waterfront

Seattle is definitely at the top of my list of favorite weekend destinations for the summer! I took my mom and she loved it too, so I thought to take a look back at sunny Seattle and post our photos just in time for this year’s good weather.

There are so many things to do in Seattle but we stayed outdoors to take advantage of the sunshine. It was so beautiful! We started off by taking a tour of the Seattle Harbor on the Argosy’s Spirit of Seattle. It was a one hour tour, which was affordable and showed us great views of the city but wasn’t too long and didn’t take up the whole day. There are several options to choose from.

Our next stop was to go up to the top of the infamous Seattle Space Needle. The observation deck is 520 feet high and once you’re up there you can get an amazing 360 degree view of the city. They’ve also got a restaurant up there! We didn’t stay for lunch but we heard some great things about it.

No visit to Seattle is complete without visiting the original Starbucks! This is the place that started it all… the line was out the door and its definitely a photo op.

We also visited the world famous Pike Place Fish Market. It is such a colorful place to be… so full of life.

Here’s the place we’ve all heard of where they throw your order around! It gets pretty loud and they definitely draw a crowd.
